Particularly through the pandemic, people have become more and more concerned with who they are buying from and what these brands are doing for the betterment of our world, both socially and environmentally.
Through increased awareness, sustainability has become somewhat of a “hot topic”.
Brands, big & small, have quickly hopped onto the “sustainability train”, making public statements about their sustainability goals and what they plan to do in the future to make the planet a “better place”. It’s not only good, but fundamental to have sustainability goals. But goals only take you so far. What’s needed is action and it needs to happen now.
Sustainability has been at the forefront of our brand here at Karbon Brewing since the moment of creation. Making the world a better place has been our motivation and is written in our ethos - We consider the repercussions of our actions at every step, sustainability isn’t an afterthought. We have goals but we also have the power of ability; the power to take action, to build the foundation of a more sustainable future.
There isn’t enough time to plan for change years from now, or to hand the responsibility off to the next generation. We are living and breathing in a time of climate crisis, we hear the alarms and see the effects everyday. We can’t ignore the reality any longer and that is why we have chosen to #GiveBackMore.
How We #GiveBackMore:
We know that the consumer goods business is a large contributor to the climate crisis, which is why we understand that it is our responsibility to ensure that we give back more than we take.
We have partnered with various organizations to build our company in the most effective way, while also cleaning up and supporting our local supply chain. We are members of 1% for the planet, and we contribute an additional 1% to causes we feel tackle these issues in the most effective way.
We work everyday to reduce our waste, starting with our raw materials & energy consumption. From our merchandise, our transportation & logistics methods to our beverages, sustainability is included in every aspect of every business decision we make.
As part of our action plan, we are working to build up the beverage community by sharing our knowledge and resources to establish industry wide change. On our website, you will find links to all of our partner organizations who share our values and help offset both of our carbon emissions.
Accountability and transparency are incredibly important to us at Karbon Brewing Co. Which is why we take every opportunity to close any gap we find in our efforts. We aren’t perfect as a company, or even as human beings, but we do our absolute best.
